The New Black Panthers: Racism Defined

Back during the 2008 election, there was at least one polling place (and probably a bunch more) where Philadelphia Black Panthers were intimidating potential voters. The DOJ decided to drop the voter corruption case against the New Black Panther Party.  Why? Because they are a black organization (that means no white folks allowed.)  No crime with the membership requirement – the crime is with the voter intimidation.

Here is a great video highlighting Samir Shabazz.  Sorry, I meant to say KING Samir Shabazz.  My bad!

What a great example of a massive racist (you know, you don’t have to be white to be a racist!)  I wonder what would have happened if some white dude said that white people should kill some black people.  It already happens – all of us white dudes look down on the White Power and KKK garbage.  They are all racist rednecks.

Mr. Shabazz, er, sorry, KING Shabazz has every right to spout his hateful rhetoric, just like all the racist white dudes.  This is America, if you want to hate your brother for the color of his skin, that is allowed.  No crime there.  I don’t agree with that thinking, but there is not a crime there.

Of course, this is just my opinion.

This Says It All About Muslim Extremism

This is an interesting exchange between David Horowitz and a student at the University of California San Diego. I like David Horowitz as he seems to me a very well-informed individual.

What would be the reaction if the situation was reversed?  Let’s say a Jewish person agreed with the extermination of all Muslims.  That Jewish person would hope that they simply drew some cartoons of Mohammad.

Of course, this is just my opinion.

Conservatarian Values: Common Sense for America

As we are a country of many views and thoughts, not many people fall simply within Republican or Democrat camps.  A small portion of the electorate adhere to a hybrid version that I and others dub as conservatarian.  This is a combination of conservative and libertarian viewpoints.

Abortion – Abortion is the taking of a life.  Human rights should apply to everyone, even the unborn.

Crime and Justice – Protect citizens through effective law enforcement.  Penalize those individuals who do not follow the rule of law with common sense sentencing and limited parole.

Self-Defense – The ability to defend yourself, your property, and your family.

Environmental Issues – The environment should be protected and preserved but not at the expense of basic human liberties.

Taxes – Replace the federal income and payroll taxes with a fair tax.  Stop the over taxation of the producers and under taxation of non-producers.

Energy and Resources – The United States should explore its own natural resources free from over reaching environmental agencies and left-wing environmental groups.

Financial Markets – The government should get out of the way of the financial markets and allow them to function properly.  Oversight should be utilized but without a full-on intrusion from the Fed.

Compulsory Retirement System – The forced bankrupt governmental retirement system (Social Security) should be abolished in favor of a voluntary method of individual contributions.

Health Care – Health care should not be run by the government in any realm.

National Defense – The military should be available to first protect citizens against domestic threats and then against international threats.

Domestic Security – The United States should first protect her citizens and then the rest of the world.  Threats to domestic security should be handled swiftly and with minimal bureaucracy.

Illegal Immigration – Illegal immigrants should be deported out of the United States.  Businesses that employ illegal immigrants should suffer steep and progressive fines.

Legal Immigration – Individuals should have the opportunity to continue to become citizens of the United States without exorbitant red tape and expense.

Discrimination Issues – Discrimination in any form is anti-American.  Everyone should be equally protected regardless of sex, wealth, race, color, creed, age, national origin, or sexual orientation, but no individual group should have more protection than another.

Many of these ideals have come through years of thoughtful study with assistance from various groups and organizations.

9-11 Science & Conspiracy – What’s the Real Truth?

UT0102777I believe I know the real truth, well, at least the logical truth about 9-11.  I have watched the people that started to crop up shortly after 9-11 that believed the disaster was an inside job by the Bush White House.  I’m not much for conspiracy theories, so I never really gave them much credence.  I figured they were just left-wing loons.  There are always extremes on either side willing to take their beliefs to the nth degree.

I was able to catch an interesting program on the National Geographic channel entitled, 9-11 Science & Conspiracy.   It’s not often I plug a program, but this one seems to be very well done showing both sides of the equation.

Here is the first ten minutes to give you an idea of the program:

Parts 2-10
Part 2
Part 3

Part 4
Part 5
Part 6
Part 7

Part 8
Part 9

Part 10

My contention has always been that the government can’t put their shoes on the right feet in the morning, so it’s a stretch to a logical thinking individual to think there is some vast conspiracy.  Forget the physics of the buildings falling or the Pentagon being penetrated – the sheer amount of people that would have to be involved is staggering.  Seemingly credible people interviewed for this program made the point that it would number in the thousands (possibly tens of thousands)  and the coordination would be a nightmare.  I would concur with that opinion.

Many humans have the need to tell someone what they know about a secretive program.  I can see an organization like our intelligence people keeping secrets from everyone – that is their job – but you would have to suspend logical thinking and reason to believe that normal everyday individuals could keep a secret about one of the most devistating events in U.S. history.  To me, it just doesn’t pass the smell test.  And yes, I would feel the exact same way if Clinton were still in office at the time of the attacks.

If you would like to watch the entire program (2 hours) without having to click on 10 links, you can catch it at 11am CST Monday morning (8-7) or many other times this month.

Money For Hamas?

Hillary Clinton in Gaza

Hillary Clinton

In this time of an advanced spending agenda by the Obama administration, it seems that we’ve exported the spendulus mentality.   Our esteemed Sec. of State has announced a pledge of 900 million to Hamas, er. sorry, Palestine.  The funds are meant to rebuild the Gaza area that has been bombed in recent skirmishes.

I guess my first question is… what?????  Don’t we have some kind of crises at home?

I know, some of you are yelling at the screen, “How about all those people injured in the fighting living in bombed out homes.”  Well, I truly feel sorry for the victims.  Really, I do.  I also feel sorry for the Israelis who have also died and endured repeated bombings by Hamas.  It’s a two way street in that fight from what I see.  My beef is that I don’t want to pay for rebuilding anything in that region – on either side.  (That includes Iraq)   Can’t they take responsibility for their own problems and rebuild it themselves?  Just a thought.

$900 million is a lot of money.  Is it money well spent?  I guess you can be the judge.

Of course, this is just my opinion.

Real Torture Comes Out to Play….

For all of you who still think the US is the most barbaric country ever to walk the earth, here is a great story for you regarding the beheading of a Polish Geologist by Taliban extremists (oxymoron) in Pakistan.

What would happen if we started beheading detainees down at Gitmo? I’ll tell you what would happen, all hell would break loose on the US – inside the country and out – and for good reason. No one really pays much mind to these guys since it was Bush who really created the terrorists – or so they line from the Kool-Aid drinkers seems to go.

Makes all the Waterboarding discussion kind of silly, doesn’t it?

Of course, this is just my opinion.

Voter Imtimidation in Philadelphia

It seems that the Black Panthers really really want Obama elected. So much so that they are intimidating those at a Polling place in Philadelphia. According to Fox 29 in Philadelphia, two individuals were standing at the entrance dressed in Black Panther garb with one brandishing a night stick.

Seems to me that Obama supporters are looking at every avenue available to suppress the McCain vote in Philadelphia. Where’s the outrage at this kind of action. I doubt there will be many news stories or national outcry. What a surprise?

We’ll see if this really makes any difference, especially since the polls are tightening in Pennsylvania.

Of course, that is just my opinion
