I traveled to the site a couple of years ago during a visit to NYC.  We were amazed at the lack of building on the site and it pretty much looked like it did when it was cleaned up.  What a waste.

Detroit: The Armpit of America

I have traveled to Detroit numerous times on my way to western Ontario.  The best view of Detroit, in my opinion, is from Windsor, Ontario looking across the water.  As you will see in the video from Steven Crowder, Detroit is really the “Armpit of America” brought to you by the UAW and liberal politicians.

UC Berkely Students Fail History Test

Alright, it wasn’t exactly a full blown history test but they didn’t pass anything with flying colors.

One of my favorites, Steven Crowder, hit another home run.  He traveled to the #1 institution in America – UC Berkeley to ask some questions of the smartest students in the land.

My favorite part is around 8:45 asking the single payer option students if Mary Jo Kopechne was in support of the public option (they were using Ted Kennedy’s image to promote the group.)  Also, I was a little surprised that none of these “enlightened” students indicated that Barack Obama was their favorite president.  Very interesting.

Aren’t they just priceless!

That’s right, all of you dirty “teabaggers” (preferred term of the left wing nuts describing the Tea Party Protesters) should just go Flag Yourself.   Yes, the fancy government whistle blower program is still in effect to alert the jack-booted thugs (probably from the SEIU) that you don’t like the proposed government health plan, health insurance (or whatever it’s being called this week.)

Now I still don’t feel that warm and cozy feeling inside about this flagging or fishy program.  “Boob” Gibbs tells us that “nobody is collecting names.”  OK, then why the special email addresses to report on your neighbors that don’t swallow the crap being shoveled out of Washington?  Yeah, I believe Boob.  I’ve also got a bridge to sell you.

If you feel compelled, go ahead and send your email to flag@whitehouse.gov or fishy@whitehouse.gov.  Feel free to pass along my columns.  Make sure to include my picture with the email so the union thugs know who to drag away to the “Health Care Re-education” camps.

The Angry Mobs Are Taking Over!

I just had to post this.  Brings perspective to the idea that “Angry Mobs” are taking over the Town Hall meetings.

I guess the marching orders from the liberal groups and the DNC is that these citizens are uninformed by the usual “right wing” characters: Rush, Beck, Hannity, O’Reilly, etc., etc.  I expected something more original from the left.  Same old stuff – demean the protesters, call them bigots and racists and get your buddies in the media to help spread the lies.  Guess that’s just wishful thinking on my part to move past the tired old tactics.

First Pitch Smackdown – Obama vs. Bush

I received an email from a charter member of the Rob’s Rant Revolution highlighting the difference between the first pitches of President Obama and President Bush.  Before you send me hate mail, this is just for fun – but very interesting if you like Baseball.

  

President Bush – First Pitch

• 2-Seam Fastball. Will cut down-and away. The typical strikeout pitch.
• Power-T position before the throw. Generates hip drive for max. velocity.
• Eyes on the target.
• Pitching hand cocked back so batter can’t see ball during delivery.
• Business slacks. He ain’t here to play, hes gonna break the catchers hand.

ASSESSMENT
Strike three – batter looking. Fastball looked inside coming towards plate then broke away on the inside corner.

• Palm ball. Comes in slow and doesn’t move.
• No Power-T. Right hand hanging down towards dirt.
• Eyes and mouth show fear that a batter will actually be in there to knock it 603 feet..
• Pitching hand open so batter can see ball during delivery.
• Blue jeans? When they asked him to throw out the first pitch he wrote a speech.

ASSESSMENT
This ball will be hit so far it will need a flight attendant.

Interesting.   I suppose this is why we didn’t actually see the pitch to into the glove of Pujols’ glove at the All-Star Game.  Also, I guess it helps that Bush 43 owned part of an MLB team at one time.

Crowder and Zo are at it again. This time they tackle the Republican stereotype weaved by all those lazy people on the left.  You know, all those fair minded people like…Keith Olbermann…Rachel Maddow…Chris Matthews…etc…etc..etc. that nobody actually watches. 

After all we’re just all a bunch of red neck hicks in our pickup trucks chewing tobacco and having fun with farm animals.

I just love Steven Crowder.  I actually think he was too nice when doing a parody of Keith Olbermann.  He’s much nastier and vindictive than what was portrayed.
